Hello dear friends!

Today I'm coming with a general business tip ...

Let me tell you a story. It's real but the names are not real

One day Martin has decided to publish a newsletter having as topic SEO (search engine optimization). Since Martin likes the cats very much, he decided to call his newsletter "My Lovely Cat". He also bought a domain name for his newsletter - mylovelycat.com - of course, and he added there a lot of pictures of his cat.

One year later, Martin decided to sell ad space in his newsletter and asked me promote it. I got some deals, but a lot of traffic - targeted traffic - bounced. Do YOU know why? Martin didn't know ... until one day when ... I forwaded to him my correspondence with a prospect ...

"Hi Adrian, I would like to promote my latest SEO book with the help of your internet marketing ezines. But I don't want my ad to be published in My Lovely Cat." I asked the customer, "Why?" and he replied a little bit irritated, "I don't sell cat food, that's why! "

And now here is today tip:

Don't mix what you like with your business unless they are related.
